Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearDenver, CO

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,316 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech features, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The expert review also backs up its appeal as a terrific family hauler with upscale materials, thoughtful amenities, and strong value.

The main trade-offs are its polarizing design and poor fuel economy, and the expert review also notes that it lacks wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want a roomy three-row SUV that feels more upscale than many rivals, the Palisade fits that use case well.

The market also looks healthy, with 39.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners highlighting the Palisade’s comfortable daily use, generous space, and strong value. The expert review also reinforces that sense of confidence by describing it as a well-rounded family SUV with thoughtful packaging and a strong warranty-backed value proposition.

It also comes with three years of complimentary scheduled service, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the vehicle’s condition matches its premium feel and that any missing conveniences are acceptable to you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping higher-mileage examples or a trim with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from SE to Calligraphy Night Edition, and lower trims come with front-wheel drive while the Calligraphy Night Edition comes only with all-wheel drive and a blacked-out appearance. The base trims are the most likely to miss some of the upscale touches and advanced equipment found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. AWD models can lock the system to split power evenly, and the SUV is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
• Safety package: SmartSense includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist plus front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and surround-view and Blind-Spot View Monitor cameras.
• Infotainment: Every Palisade has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM, and a rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard but require a cable, and wireless charging starts with SEL trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model should return 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 18.8 mpg on the evaluation loop.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Palisade’s space, V6 power, and core safety tech at the lowest price. It gives you the basics, but you’ll miss some of the more upscale equipment and convenience features found higher in the lineup.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more convenience and tech without jumping all the way to the luxury-leaning upper trims. It also unlocks wireless charging, and the available Premium package brings several important safety and camera upgrades.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking version, but note that the safety content says the SEL Premium package features are not available here. It’s more about appearance and trim character than added capability.
• Limited: This is a strong choice if you want a more premium feel, since it adds equipment such as the digital gauge cluster and the Harman Kardon audio system. It also benefits from the three-layer blind-spot safety setup.
• Calligraphy: This is for you if you want the most upscale standard Palisade experience short of the Night Edition. It includes the premium tech and blind-spot camera advantages, making it a compelling luxury-leaning pick.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the most distinctive look and the most fully loaded feel, with blacked-out styling, AWD, and the same premium equipment advantages as the Calligraphy.

The SEL Premium package is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since it adds lane-change assist, front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and camera-based blind-spot aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,316 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,149, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $34,149 sits slightly below last year's $38,142.

That price decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong demand for roomy, well-equipped three-row SUVs should still help support values over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets five-star ratings for side-impact collisions and four-star rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist.

One caveat is that the NHTSA crash-test picture is incomplete because there are no frontal impact results to reference. The SEL Premium package also adds several useful safety features that are not available with the XRT trim.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard three-zone climate control, Bluelink+ connected services, and the Calligraphy Night Edition.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,435, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,149 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $35,551, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $34,149 average.
• The SEL Premium becomes a trim level and the XRT gains more standard equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current-year inventory, the 2024 is the best starting point. If price is your top priority, the 2023 is the smarter bargain hunt, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the later updates and are comfortable paying more.
