Used 2025 Genesis G80 for Sale nearSpartanburg, SC

How much does the 2025 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 5.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 316 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Genesis G80 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a good-looking, feature-rich, well-priced midsize luxury sedan that leans heavily on design, technology, and premium cabin materials. The trade-off is that it is not the quickest car in its class, and its fuel economy is a weak point.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The G80 is positioned as a comfortable, well-equipped luxury sedan with a strong warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce ownership stress. Its calm ride and premium build also support the impression of a car designed to feel solid over time.

Genesis includes three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance, which is a useful ownership perk. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s weaker fuel economy and performance-oriented trims can make it less satisfying if you want lower running costs or a sportier feel.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing higher-mileage examples or cars with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, since luxury features and interior presentation are a big part of the G80’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models get leatherette seating and do not include wood trim, while higher trims add more upscale materials and features.
• Powertrain: The G80 offers a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 300 horsepower and a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 375 horsepower; the car is tuned more for comfort than quick acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist. Upper trims add side park-distance warning, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.
• Infotainment: A 27-inch OLED display houses the gauge cluster and infotainment system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA gives the G80 a combined fuel rating of 24 mpg for the smaller engine, dropping to 19 mpg combined in the twin-turbo V6.

Which 2025 Genesis G80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis G80 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Advanced, Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the G80’s core appeal: strong design, a premium-feeling cabin, and a long list of standard equipment. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but you give up some of the richer interior touches found higher up.
• Advanced: This is the best-value trim because it adds wood trim and a more upscale cabin presentation without pushing you into the most expensive versions. If you want the sweet spot between price and luxury feel, this is the one to target.
• Sport Advanced: This trim is for you if you want a more richly appointed G80 and are willing to pay for extra visual and equipment upgrades. It suits buyers who care more about content and presentation than chasing the quickest version.
• Sport Prestige: This is the top-end choice if you want the most lavish version of the G80, including Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber trim, shiny alloy pedals, and a micro-suede headliner. It is the right pick if you want the fullest luxury experience and do not mind the higher price.

Upper trims add side park-distance warning, Smart Park and rear occupant alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 316 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,742, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $52,742 sits slightly below last year's $55,921.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, which can put some pressure on future resale expectations. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, but a seller later may need to stay competitive if the market remains soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 safe?

The 2025 Genesis G80 earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and a mix of IIHS results, including Good marks in small front and side crashes and front pedestrian avoidance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist as standard equipment. Upper trims add side park-distance warning, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.

The main caveat is that IIHS gave the G80 Acceptable marks for headlights, forward collision avoidance and LATCH ease of use, plus a Marginal score in moderate front crashes and seat belt reminders.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a refreshed look, a 27-inch OLED display, and standard wireless smartphone integration.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans into old-school elegance with a calm, confident luxury-car character.

The bottom line: If you want the better-value buy right now, the 2025 is the stronger path because it combines a softer used price with strong equipment and broad appeal. If you are willing to wait or compare, the 2026 is the better secondary path for buyers who want a more traditional luxury-sedan feel.
