Used 2025 Genesis G80 for Sale nearCenter Rutland, VT

How much does the 2025 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 5.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 294 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Genesis G80 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a good-looking, feature-rich, well-priced midsize luxury sedan with a sophisticated presence and strong curb appeal. It is especially appealing if you value comfort, premium materials, and value over outright pace.

The trade-offs are clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, and fuel economy is poor. Even so, the car’s strong ride quality and upscale presentation make it a compelling choice if you want a luxury sedan that feels expensive without being priced like the usual German rivals.

34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The G80 is backed by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile limited warranty, and three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance. That combination helps reduce early ownership risk and makes the car easier to live with over time.

The model also leans on a comfort-first, feature-rich formula rather than a high-strung performance setup, which can be a plus for durability-minded shoppers. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the car has been maintained properly and hasn’t been driven hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s equipment and condition match the listing. A pre-purchase inspection is especially worthwhile if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more technology and luxury features. Focus on wear items, electronics, and signs that the car’s premium features have been used and maintained properly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models wear leatherette seating surfaces and do not get wood trim until the Advanced trim, while higher trims add richer materials and more upscale finishes.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque or a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is quicker, but the car is still tuned more for comfort than urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist. Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 27-inch OLED display touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Fingerprint authentication is also included, and Smart Park is available.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA gives the G80 a combined fuel rating of 24 miles per gallon with the smaller engine and 19 mpg combined with the twin-turbo V6.

Which 2025 Genesis G80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis G80 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Advanced, Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the G80’s upscale design, standard all-wheel drive, and core luxury feel. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable skipping some of the richer trim-specific touches.
• Advanced: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds wood trim and a more polished cabin presentation without pushing you all the way to the top of the range.
• Sport Advanced: This trim is the sweet spot if you want the stronger 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and a more performance-oriented setup without paying for the most expensive version.
• Sport Prestige: This is the fully loaded choice, bringing the most lavish materials and the most equipment, but it is best for buyers who care more about maximum content than value.

Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 294 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,091, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $53,775 sits slightly below last year's $56,940.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper resale expectations later. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower average price than a year ago, which can reduce the amount of depreciation you absorb in the near term.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the G80’s value-focused luxury appeal continues to hold up against pricier rivals. Strong equipment, a premium cabin, and a competitive price can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Genesis G80 safe?

The 2025 Genesis G80 earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis makes most driver-assistance aids standard, including forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane following assist, speed limit assist, forward and rear park-distance warning, blind-spot avoidance tech, and Highway Drive Assist. Upper trims add side park-distance warning and assist, Smart Park, rear occupant alert, and a blind-spot monitor with a video feed in the gauge cluster.

The caveat is that IIHS results are mixed: the G80 scored Good in small front and side crashes as well as front pedestrian avoidance, but it earned Acceptable marks for headlights, forward collision avoidance, and LATCH ease of use, and a Marginal score in moderate front crashes and seat belt reminders.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Fresh off a mid-cycle refresh, it leans hard on design, technology, and features.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the midsize G80’s elegant luxury focus while broadening trim and engine choices.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better buy if you want the refreshed design, strong value, and a market that has already softened. If you’re shopping mainly on price, the 2025 also gives you a good chance to find a deal without giving up the G80’s premium feel.
