Used 2025 Ford Expedition for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2025 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 18.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,295 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users and 7.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

The 2025 Ford Expedition is aimed at you if you want a large SUV with serious interior space and strong towing capability, plus a cabin that feels notably modern. The expert review also highlights that it is surprisingly easy to drive for something this size, which helps make its everyday usability stronger than you might expect from a full-size SUV.

The main trade-offs are clear: the engines are thirsty, and some of the tech depends on an additional subscription. Even so, the combination of capability, standard equipment, and advanced features makes it a compelling choice if you need a big SUV and are willing to pay for it.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 35.5% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert review points to a powertrain that has no trouble moving a heavy SUV up to highway speed, and it also notes that the transmission shifts quietly and accurately. That combination suggests the Expedition is built to handle the demands of daily driving and long trips without feeling strained.

The review also emphasizes that the vehicle is comfortable and quiet enough for extended highway use, which is a good sign for durability-minded shoppers who plan to rack up miles. If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is likely to come from the Expedition’s complexity and fuel costs rather than from a lack of capability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV with a lot of technology and available driver-assistance hardware. Pay close attention to how the cabin electronics, camera systems, and subscription-based features function, since those are central to the Expedition’s appeal. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because this is a vehicle that can be expensive to own if it has been neglected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Active trim brings a surprisingly rich standard feature set, including ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and a 24-inch panoramic driver information display. Higher trims add nicer materials, and the King Ranch stands out for its more upscale leather seating. The base trim still looks well equipped, but the feature gap is worth comparing carefully if you want the most premium feel.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Expedition uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The standard version makes 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, while the Tremor gets a high-output version with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. The high-output engine is also available on the Platinum.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on the Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, but it requires a subscription after the trial period.
• Infotainment: The Expedition uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store. It also supports wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay projection, but the Google-based system needs an active data plan to work properly.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA rates 2WD models at 16 mpg city, 24 highway, and 18 combined. 4WD models are rated at 15/22/18.

Which 2025 Ford Expedition trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Expedition is offered in 4 trim levels: Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.

Here's the short version:

• Active: This is the best-value trim if you want the Expedition’s core strengths without paying for the upper-end luxury and off-road extras. It already comes with a strong standard feature set, including the panoramic driver display and several comfort features that you might expect on pricier trims.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the available high-output engine without stepping all the way into the Tremor’s off-road focus. It sits in the middle of the lineup and should appeal to you if you want more power and a more upscale feel.
• Tremor: This is the one to buy if you want the most trail-ready Expedition. It adds the high-output engine, 4WD, 33-inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, an electronic locking rear axle, and extra ground clearance, making it the clear pick for buyers who want off-pavement capability.
• King Ranch: Pick this if you want the most luxurious feel in the lineup. The review highlights its nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating, so it suits you best if comfort and presentation matter more than price.

BlueCruise 1.4 is available on the Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch trim levels, but it requires a subscription after the trial period.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,295 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,272, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $61,068 sits slightly below last year's $75,141.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also limit how much upside a future seller can expect if prices stay soft. If you buy at the right number, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

The good news for resale is that the Expedition’s strong utility, broad appeal, and high owner satisfaction can help sustain demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition safe?

The 2025 Ford Expedition has not yet been rated by NHTSA, and the IIHS testing referenced for this model was performed on a previous-generation 2023 model.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Expedition comes standard with a strong driver-assistance suite that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on the Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, but it is not standard across the lineup and requires a subscription after the trial period.

The caveat to keep in mind is that the available crash-test information is not from the updated 2025 model itself. That means you should treat the safety equipment as a major strength, while recognizing that the latest body structure has not yet been fully validated by current crash testing.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model adds the new Tremor trim, which broadens the Expedition’s mission and makes it the most trail-ready version yet.

The bottom line: If you want the most current Expedition with the newest trim strategy, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting into a spacious, capable Expedition at the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025’s softened pricing and strong inventory make it a sensible place to shop first.
