Used 2025 Ford Expedition for Sale nearMuskogee, OK

How much does the 2025 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 20.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,323 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Expedition earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

The Expedition’s appeal is strongest if you want a large SUV that combines interior space with powerful towing capability. It is all-new for 2025, and its interior is described as tech-forward and impressively futuristic, while the exterior styling stays subdued. The test-drive data also says it is surprisingly easy to drive in everyday circumstances for something this large.

The main trade-offs are that the engines are thirsty and some tech features require an additional subscription. Even so, the Expedition’s capability and modern tech make it a strong fit if you need a full-size SUV that can handle family duty and serious hauling.

33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Expedition’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward powertrain setup and the fact that the test-drive data describes the vehicle as easy to live with in everyday driving. It also points to a quiet, comfortable highway manner and a transmission that shifts quietly and accurately, both of which support a sense of durability in regular use.

The cost-effectiveness notes also mention that the vehicle is manufactured at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant and that its 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine is built at the Cleveland Engine Plant. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is operating cost rather than basic dependability, especially if you drive a lot or rely on the tech features that may require subscriptions.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV where wear can hide in plain sight. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the tech and driver-assistance features work as expected. If you plan to use the Expedition for towing or long-distance family travel, make sure the vehicle’s equipment matches your needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Active trim comes with ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the 24-inch panoramic driver information display, while higher trims add nicer materials and more upscale appointments. The top-level King Ranch is described as having significantly nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating, and the Tremor adds off-road-focused hardware and lighting.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Expedition uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The standard version makes 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, while the Tremor gets a high-output version with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque; that stronger engine is also available on Platinum.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, with a 90-day trial included.
• Infotainment: The Expedition uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with built-in Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported, but the Ford Digital Experience requires an active cellular data plan after the complimentary period.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 16 mpg city, 24 highway, and 18 combined for 2WD models, and 15/22/18 for 4WD models.

Which 2025 Ford Expedition trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Expedition is offered in 4 trim levels: Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.

Here's the short version:

• Active: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Expedition’s core strengths without paying for the upper-trim luxury extras. It already brings a lot of equipment, including the panoramic driver display, tri-zone climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the standard safety suite, so you are not starting from a stripped-down base model.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the available high-output engine without moving all the way to the Tremor, along with a more upscale feel than the Active. It is the trim to consider if you want stronger performance but do not need the Tremor’s off-road hardware.
• Tremor: This is the one to buy if you want the Expedition’s most adventurous setup. It adds the high-output engine, 4WD, 33-inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, an electronic locking rear axle, and extra ground clearance, making it the clear choice for buyers who want more off-pavement capability.
• King Ranch: Pick this if you want the most luxurious Expedition experience. The review highlights its nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating, so it suits you best if comfort and upscale cabin feel matter more than value.

BlueCruise 1.4 is available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, so you can add hands-free driving capability without limiting yourself to only one trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

The market looks selective but workable if you are shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,323 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,284, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $60,564 sits slightly below last year's $76,163.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale values depend heavily on condition and equipment. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you should be better positioned when it is time to sell.

The Expedition’s broad appeal comes from its space, capability, and modern tech, so well-equipped examples should remain easier to move than poorly maintained ones. Strong demand for a full-size SUV with this mix of utility and comfort should help support resale over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition safe?

The 2025 Ford Expedition has not yet been rated by NHTSA, and the IIHS testing referenced for this model was performed on a previous-generation 2023 Expedition, which received only Moderate scores in the small overlap front and updated moderate overlap front tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite is strong and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is also available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, with a 90-day trial included.

The caveat is that the available crash-test information does not fully reflect the updated 2025 model, so you should treat the current test results as only a partial guide.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model is all-new, adds the Tremor trim, and brings a tech-forward interior with a 24-inch driver information display and a 13.2-inch touchscreen.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Expedition with the most up-to-date design, tech, and trim lineup, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025’s all-new status and strong equipment make it the better choice if you want the latest version of this SUV’s space-and-capability formula.
