You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s service and ownership records. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior wear, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven use so you can separate a clean example from one that has been neglected. Focus on overall condition and maintenance quality, since those factors matter most when you are comparing similarly priced listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac XT4?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively and still have room to negotiate if you find the right listing.

• Inventory: There are 1,052 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.25% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,278, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac XT4's resale value?

The current average of $33,278 sits slightly below last year's $38,808.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, softer pricing now may mean you should expect more competition when it is time to resell. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect value even in a softer market.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac XT4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.25% compared with last year.

The bottom line:

The 2025 is the better path if you want a current-year XT4 with a decent mix of deal opportunities and clean inventory. If your main goal is to minimize upfront cost, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
