How much does the 2025 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 878 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

With a 3/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 looks like a mixed but appealing choice if you value tech and driving enjoyment over maximum polish. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The overview and expert notes point to a premium midsize sedan that is a relative bargain in its segment, with a major 2025 tech upgrade centered on the new 33-inch display, plus added safety and driver-assistance content. It is also described as enjoyable to drive and strong on safety, but it still trails some rivals in refinement.

Trade-offs: it lacks overall polish and refinement, and it also has tight rear-seat headroom and limited cargo space.

For you, that means the CT5 makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with standout tech and a more engaging character than many rivals. The market also shows 33.7% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is presented as a well-equipped luxury sedan with strong safety and technology content, and the expert evaluation describes it as a good car overall. The performance notes also say it is effortless to drive, with a powertrain that gets up to speed easily and a chassis with fundamentally good bones.

The expert write-up also notes that the CT5’s tech is impressive and easy to use, and the safety systems are unusually comprehensive for the class. On the ownership side, the cost-effectiveness commentary suggests the car delivers strong value for the money, especially relative to pricier German rivals.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the CT5’s appeal depends on finding one that has been maintained well and still feels tight, since the model’s refinement and polish are not its strongest traits.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title alone does not tell you how the car was driven or maintained. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and driver-assistance features, since this model leans heavily on technology. Also pay close attention to overall condition, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with expensive options.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup no longer includes Luxury, and the remaining trims are Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing. The base-level gap matters because the standard turbo-four is described as mediocre, so you may want to step up if you care about stronger performance or a richer equipment mix.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 makes 335 hp and 405 lb-ft. The turbo-four returns 25-26 mpg combined, while the V6 returns 21-22 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Every CT5 includes a comprehensive set of driver-assistance systems, including a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, and active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes. Super Cruise is the standout hands-free driving system, but it requires an active subscription.
• Infotainment: The 33-inch panoramic display houses digital instrumentation and a wide infotainment touchscreen with Google Built-in. You also get wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play access, SiriusXM 360L, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four gets 25-26 mpg combined, while the twin-turbo V6 returns 21-22 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 4 trim levels: Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value starting point if you want the CT5’s new tech, a more upscale cabin, and the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. It suits you if you care more about comfort and equipment than outright speed.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the same core setup with a more athletic look and feel. It makes sense if styling matters to you and you still want the CT5’s tech and safety content.
• CT5-V: Step up here if you want more performance and a stronger overall driving experience than the standard trims provide. It is the better fit if you want the CT5 to feel more special without going all the way to the top model.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the enthusiast choice if you want the most serious performance in the lineup. It is the trim to consider if you are shopping for the most capable and most expensive CT5.

Every CT5 includes a broad safety package, and Super Cruise is the standout feature to look for if hands-free driving matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop, compare, and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 878 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,900, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $43,907 sits slightly below last year's $48,238.

That decline suggests the CT5 has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means sellers may face more price pressure than they did a year ago. If you own one, strong equipment and desirable options should help, but the broader market is still moving in buyers’ favor. For future resale, the best protection will come from keeping mileage reasonable and the condition clean.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 earns top five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA evaluation, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac equips every CT5 with a comprehensive set of driver-assistance systems, including a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, and active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes. Super Cruise is the headline feature, giving you hands-free driving on approved roads with driver monitoring in place.

The main caveat is that Super Cruise depends on an active subscription, so you should confirm that the feature is available and functioning as expected on any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.98% compared with last year.
• The 2025 adds a major tech upgrade with the new 33-inch display and more standard safety content.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,413, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,907 average.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a decent value.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated tech, stronger safety content, and the best mix of features in this generation. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play because it delivers the CT5 formula for less.
