How much does the 2022 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 1.38% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 738 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2022 Cadillac CT5. The overview points to a midsize luxury sedan that aims to deliver driving appeal, space, and prestige at a lower price than pricier German rivals, while also giving you a distinctive fastback-style design and sharp Cadillac styling.

For your money, you’re looking at a car that emphasizes technology and performance, with a 10-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and available Super Cruise. If you want a stylish luxury sedan with personality and a broad feature set, this model year fits that use case well.

34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the CT5’s appeal comes from its mix of technology, performance, and distinctive styling, which can make it feel like a well-rounded ownership choice if those traits matter most to you. It also offers a range of turbocharged engines and available performance hardware, so you can choose a version that better matches how you plan to drive.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s refinement and cabin quality may not feel as polished as some rivals, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re considering, even if the car appears clean on paper. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on interior condition, cabin wear, and how well the technology and driver-assistance features operate.

Because the overview notes a tighter cabin and some refinement tradeoffs, pay close attention to seat comfort, headroom, legroom, and overall interior quality during your test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Cadillac CT5?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 738 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.38% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,170, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $33,921 sits slightly below last year's $34,397.

That decline suggests the CT5 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you’re starting from a more favorable cost basis than a year ago.

Because the model still offers strong style and a desirable luxury-sedan image, well-kept examples should remain easier to market than neglected ones. Condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,548, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $33,921 average.
• It sharpens the sedan’s style and driving character.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2022 is the stronger starting point because it costs less and still offers solid deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and want the 2023’s updated character, that can make sense too, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2022 and shop for a clean, well-priced example.
