What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW i5?

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can affect long-term ownership costs. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence rather than price alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW i5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have enough inventory to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 325 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $57,417, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW i5's resale value?

The current average of $57,458 sits slightly below last year's $65,857.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, strong condition and clean history should matter even more because buyers will likely compare your car against a market that has already softened. A well-kept example should still hold up better than one with visible wear or a questionable history.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW i5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $51,149, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $57,458 average.
• The 2024 offers strong performance, good range, and a comfortable cabin.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2025 if you want the current-year market and a decent share of well-priced, clean listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and still gives you many of the same core strengths.
