How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 22.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,283 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare across trims and conditions.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Q7’s appeal starts with its mid-size, seven-seat layout, standard all-wheel drive, stylish design, and strong everyday tech. It also stands out for excellent handling characteristics, which helps it feel more polished than many three-row SUVs.

The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped, the advanced driver-assistance features are outdated, and fuel economy is poor. That means you’re getting a well-rounded luxury SUV, but not one that leads the class in family-friendly space or modern safety tech.

With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a refined, well-equipped luxury SUV, but it also shows its age in a few areas that matter for long-term ownership. The overview points to strong driving dynamics and upscale appeal, while the expert review notes that the platform has been around since 2017 and that some key areas lag behind newer rivals.

The performance write-up emphasizes smooth power delivery, firm brakes, and handling that feels composed even when the SUV is pushed. That suggests the Q7 should feel solid and predictable in daily use, especially if you value road manners over outright excitement.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a practical ownership angle: the base trim is the smarter buy, and the top trim is hard to justify when the driver-assistance tech is dated. For used buyers, that means the safest long-term bet is usually a well-kept example with the equipment you actually need, rather than a heavily optioned version that may not age as gracefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage or heavily optioned example. Focus on overall condition, because the Q7’s appeal depends heavily on how well the interior tech, trim, and driver-assistance systems have been maintained and used.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premium trim gets the core Q7 experience, while Premium Plus and Prestige add more equipment. The biggest gap to watch is that the more expensive trims can climb quickly in price without fixing the Q7’s outdated driver-assistance shortcomings.
• Powertrain: The Q7 offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and a 3.0-liter turbo V6 with 335 horsepower. The larger engine is the stronger choice if you want more effortless passing power, while the smaller engine is the value play.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and self-parking capability. The system is customizable, but the lane-centering behavior is described as less polished than what you’ll find in some rivals.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses a 10.1-inch center screen with a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, plus a configurable digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the Audi App Store adds third-party apps.
• Fuel efficiency: The smaller engine is rated at 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The larger engine returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want the best value. It gives you the core Q7 formula, and the cost-effectiveness notes specifically point you toward the base trim with the more potent engine if you want the smartest balance of price and performance.
• Premium Plus: This is the middle-ground choice if you want more equipment without jumping all the way to the top trim. It makes sense if you want a richer feature set but still want to avoid the steepest price climb.
• Prestige: This is the most luxurious version, but it is also the hardest to justify because the price rises quickly and the driver-assistance tech still trails the competition.

The safety package is a strength in terms of breadth, but the review notes that the ADAS tech itself is outdated, so you should not expect the top trim to solve that issue.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,283 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,355, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $44,355 sits slightly below last year's $57,554.

That drop suggests the Q7 has become more approachable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer pricing environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy well now, you may be entering at a more favorable point in the depreciation curve.

For resale, condition and trim choice will matter a lot. A clean, well-equipped example should hold up better than one that is heavily worn or overpriced relative to the market.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering, and self-parking capability. You can also customize the adaptive cruise behavior, which is a nice touch if you want a more relaxed or more assertive driving style.

The main caveat is that the driver-assistance tech is described as outdated and less polished than what you’ll find in some rivals. The lane-centering system can feel haphazard, so if advanced highway assistance is a priority, you should test it carefully before buying.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.93% compared with last year.
• The 2025 model stands out for its mid-cycle refresh, stylish design, standard all-wheel drive, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and strong handling, but it still carries the same drawbacks around cramped third-row space and outdated driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this Q7 and value its styling, handling, and tech conveniences, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting into a Q7 at the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be the better path.
