Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale nearLake Elsinore, CA

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 7.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,298 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Q5 is positioned as a compact luxury SUV that brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite to a model that was redesigned for this year. It comes across as comfortable, easy to live with, and well equipped, which fits buyers looking for a polished everyday luxury SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may be polarizing, and the transmission is described as irritating. The high base price also makes it a tougher value proposition than some rivals.

That said, the Q5’s mix of standard all-wheel drive, easy-to-use technology, and premium-feeling execution should still appeal if you want a refined, modern luxury SUV rather than the most exciting one in the class.

Good and great deals percentage: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a redesigned model that aims to improve on a formula that already worked well, with a premium-feeling interior and chassis tuning supporting its everyday appeal.

Its performance setup centers on a 2.0-liter turbo-four, standard Quattro all-wheel drive, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi says the Q5 is tuned for competent, balanced handling rather than sporty behavior, and the ride/handling balance is described as capable without being floaty.

The cost-of-ownership picture is fairly straightforward: Audi backs it with a four-year/50,000-mile new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain coverage, matching most rivals. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a high-priced, tech-heavy luxury SUV can be expensive to keep satisfying if you run into repair or electronics issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a tech-heavy luxury SUV where electronics, drivability, and trim-specific equipment can matter a lot. Focus on condition, feature operation, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim you think you’re buying.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige are the main trims, and the base Premium misses out on LED Headlights Plus that the higher trims get.
• Powertrain: The Q5 uses a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 268 horsepower, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and Quattro all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, active front assist, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert. Premium Plus adds a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise assist.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Prestige trim adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: Audi estimates 25 mpg combined, with 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q5 experience with standard all-wheel drive, the 268-horsepower turbo-four, wireless smartphone integration, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the redesigned Q5, but it leaves some desirable equipment for higher trims.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds meaningful everyday upgrades, including the 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise assist, four USB-C ports, and the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most tech-forward Q5, including the passenger touchscreen and available air suspension. It’s the most fully featured version, but it makes the already high price harder to justify unless you really want the extra equipment.

Premium Plus adds the most useful safety and convenience upgrades, while Prestige is the trim with the most advanced tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,298 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,080, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $43,080 sits slightly below last year's $46,638.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you if you’re buying now and may soften the hit if you sell later. The current market also shows that demand is still healthy enough to support a broad listing pool, but not so strong that prices are being pushed upward.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Q5’s value appears to be settling rather than surging. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be in a better position than someone who paid closer to the original new-car pricing.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, active front assist with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert.

Premium Plus models add a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise assist, which brings lane keep assist and automatic speed adjustment as limits change.

Because this redesigned model was just reaching showrooms, crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were not available at the time described here.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• It brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite to the Q5.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans even more heavily on screens and tech.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign and can find a well-priced example, the 2025 makes sense. If you’re mainly shopping on value, the softer pricing and broad inventory make this a year worth targeting, while the next model year may appeal if you prioritize the latest tech presentation.
