Should I buy a 2024 Toyota bZ4X or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.47% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,322, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $24,934 average.
• The 2023 brings Toyota’s first U.S.-market EV with simple trims and a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the current-year market and a decent spread of deal opportunities. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value-oriented path.
