Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner continues to be a prominent choice for buyers seeking a rugged SUV with genuine off-road capabilities. With its 4.0-liter V6 engine producing 270 horsepower, the 4Runner provides sufficient power, especially for off-roading adventures. While its on-road performance may feel sluggish with a five-speed automatic transmission, this SUV excels in navigating challenging terrains, earning praise for its durability and reliability. Owners appreciate features like heated seats and blind spot monitoring, enhancing the overall driving experience, but some note the relatively poor fuel economy of 17 mpg combined. Furthermore, despite its aging design, which can feel outdated in terms of technology and cabin aesthetics, the 4Runner offers substantial cargo space and a distinctive rugged look. This model balances its strengths in off-road functionality with certain limitations, such as handling and technology, making it appealing for those prioritizing adventure and durability.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
