Used 2024 Subaru Impreza for Sale nearRoselle, NJ

How much does the 2024 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 2.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,451 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated car with an expert score of 6.83/10. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

The 2024 Impreza is positioned as an affordable all-wheel-drive economy car with a comfortable ride and smart features, so it fits well if you want everyday usefulness with a bit more personality. The revived RS trim adds extra driver excitement, while the overall package still leans practical rather than flashy.

Trade-offs: it’s more of a refresh than a full redesign, and the base engine is less compelling than the RS upgrade. Even so, the standard AWD and strong value proposition help it stand out in the class.

Market signal: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Impreza is built around a practical formula: standard all-wheel drive, a comfortable ride, and a straightforward layout that should make day-to-day ownership easy. Its performance setup is also simple and consistent, with both engines paired to a CVT and AWD standard across the lineup.

The cost-effectiveness side adds to the ownership appeal, especially if you value the standard AWD advantage without moving into a pricier segment. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about choosing a well-kept example that hasn’t been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Impreza?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share doesn’t guarantee the specific car you’re considering has a clean past. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, and pay close attention to tire wear, brake condition, and how the AWD system and CVT feel on a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base model uses two 7-inch displays, while the Sport and RS trims get the larger 11.6-inch touchscreen. The RS also adds a more aggressive look with side skirts and red interior accents, so base-trim shoppers should expect a simpler cabin and fewer visual upgrades.
• Powertrain: The Base and Sport trims use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque, while the RS upgrades to a 2.5-liter engine with 182 hp and 178 lb-ft. All versions use a CVT, AWD is standard, and there’s no manual transmission.
• Safety package: Every Impreza gets the EyeSight driver assist suite with frontal collision warning and automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-centering. The Sport adds Starlink communications features, and the RS adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency steering.
• Infotainment: All Imprezas include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Sport and RS add wireless connectivity. The larger 11.6-inch touchscreen is standard on the Sport and RS, and those trims also get Starlink features and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 2.0-liter engine is estimated at 27 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined, while the RS is rated only 1 mpg less across the board.

Which 2024 Subaru Impreza trim should I buy?

The 2024 Subaru Impreza is offered in 3 trim levels: Base, Sport, RS.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry price and standard AWD. You still get the EyeSight safety suite and smartphone integration, but the cabin is simpler with the smaller dual-screen setup.
• Sport: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the larger 11.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sportier handling, and extra convenience and tech features.
• RS: This is the one to buy if you want the most power and the most complete feature set. It adds the 2.5-liter engine, more responsive driving character, and the extra safety and comfort upgrades that make it the most appealing all-around choice.

The safety package starts with EyeSight on every trim, while the Sport and RS add more features as you move up the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,451 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,046, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $22,880 sits slightly below last year's $23,467.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped.

Because the Impreza has standard AWD and broad everyday appeal, well-kept examples should continue to attract shoppers who want capability without paying crossover prices. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza safe?

The 2024 Impreza has no published crash-test ratings yet, but Subaru is targeting a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every Impreza comes with the EyeSight driver assist suite, which includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-centering. The Sport adds Starlink communications features with automatic collision notification, enhanced roadside assistance, and an SOS button, while the RS adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency steering.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The revived RS trim adds more driver excitement while keeping the Impreza’s practical all-wheel-drive formula intact.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, standard AWD, and updated features, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you can also shop carefully for a well-kept example and focus on the best deal rather than the newest trim.
