How much does the 2024 Subaru BRZ cost?

Is the 2024 Subaru BRZ a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for a car that prioritizes balance and driver involvement over straight-line speed. The 2024 Subaru BRZ is a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe with a 2.4-liter boxer engine, and it keeps its focus on playful, precise handling rather than practicality. It also brings a more modern cabin with standard tech like a 7-inch digital dashboard, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a rear-view camera. For you, that means the BRZ makes the most sense if you want a compact sports car that feels engaging and well-equipped without chasing maximum utility.

30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Subaru BRZ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Subaru BRZ’s appeal is built around a simple, focused formula: rear-wheel drive, a lightweight chassis, and a modern set of standard features. Subaru also says the redesigned chassis delivers a 50% increase in torsional stiffness, which supports the car’s balanced, precise character. Standard EyeSight driver assistance adds another layer of everyday confidence.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about whether the car has been driven and maintained in a way that matches its sporty purpose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru BRZ?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any signs of prior damage or inconsistent maintenance. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check the condition of the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and suspension, since this is a sports coupe that may have been driven more aggressively than average. Focus on overall wear and condition, especially if the car has been modified or used as a weekend performance car.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru BRZ?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective if you’re patient and ready to move when the right listing appears.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,622, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru BRZ's resale value?

The current average of $28,792 sits slightly below last year's $30,552.

That price movement suggests the BRZ has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been cared for. Because this model has a focused enthusiast appeal, clean examples should continue to attract attention even if the broader market stays soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru BRZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the BRZ’s modern cabin, standard driver assistance, and a used price that has moved down from last year. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better pick if you want a balanced mix of value, equipment, and enthusiast appeal.
