Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 RAM 3500 Chassis?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop, but the best listings may still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 251 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,346, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 RAM 3500 Chassis's resale value?

The current average of $54,391 sits slightly below last year's $60,404.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. If you keep the vehicle clean and well-documented, you'll be in a better position when it's time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 3500 Chassis or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing and available inventory, the 2024 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can still make sense to compare nearby years and target the best-maintained truck with the cleanest history rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
