Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 RAM 3500 Chassis?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 319 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.14% compared with last year.

The current average of $47,774 sits slightly below last year's $52,006.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively today. If you plan to own it for a while, keeping service records and preserving condition should help protect what you get back later.

Should I buy a 2023 RAM 3500 Chassis or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.14% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a sensible primary choice if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent share of clean listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
