Is the 2024 Nissan Frontier a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Frontier earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The Frontier stands out as a midsize pickup with rugged styling, a practical work-ready personality, and a more substantial look after its redesign. Is the 2024 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Frontier’s standard equipment is a strength, and its broad feature set helps it feel well equipped for everyday use. Its work-ready personality and capable setup also support confidence if you want a truck that can handle regular ownership demands. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific truck you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Frontier?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report so you can confirm the truck’s background and spot any hidden issues. Put inspection priority on signs of heavy use, especially if the truck was used for towing, hauling, or off-road driving. Focus on overall condition, because a Frontier that looks clean on paper can still show wear in the cabin, suspension, or bed.

What is the 2024 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $32,059 sits slightly below last year's $32,495.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable point. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition so you preserve as much value as possible. Trucks that stay clean, well maintained, and lightly worn tend to be easier to move when it’s time to trade in or sell privately.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,639, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $32,059 average.
• It feels established and value-focused.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,581, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,059 average.
• It adds more standard safety tech and a newer infotainment setup.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the best balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer updates and are willing to pay more.
