How much does the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Outlander stands out because it gives you a standard third row, a more modern cabin than the previous generation, and available all-wheel drive for added versatility. It also fits shoppers who want practicality and value, especially if you like a seven-passenger layout and a feature-rich interior. Good and great deals account for 39.1% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Outlander’s appeal is reinforced by its strong warranty, broad standard safety equipment, and solid crash-test results. It also benefits from Mitsubishi’s parts and technology sharing with Nissan, which helps give it a more contemporary feel. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic durability and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by heavy family use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. Focus on the condition of the third row, interior materials, and any electronics you plan to use regularly, since those features are part of the Outlander’s value proposition. A careful test drive should also confirm that the cabin, controls, and driver-assistance features all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,691 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,858, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $22,859 sits slightly below last year's $25,694.

That price movement suggests the Outlander has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the vehicle is especially clean and well equipped. The good news is that a lower entry price can help keep demand steady among shoppers looking for value and a standard third row. If you maintain the vehicle well and keep mileage and condition in check, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $25,910, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,859 average.
• It adds refreshed tech and a better sound system.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and a wider pool of lower-priced listings. If you’re willing to pay more for updated tech and a refreshed cabin experience, the 2025 is the better secondary path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
