How much does the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

There are 2,586 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out in the compact SUV class because it offers a standard third row, giving you a seven-passenger layout that many rivals do not match. You also get a more modern cabin, a larger infotainment touchscreen, and a broad set of standard driver-assistance features, so it fits well if you want a family-oriented compact SUV with extra seating and useful tech. The market also shows 39.0% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 Outlander is described as quiet for the most part, with a comfort-focused ride and a cabin that emphasizes everyday usability. Its standard safety and driver-assistance equipment also adds confidence for daily driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its value retention is hurt by accelerated depreciation, so condition and price matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on the cabin electronics, infotainment system, and all driver-assistance features so you know everything works as expected. Focus on overall condition, because depreciation makes it especially important to buy a clean example at the right price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,586 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,663, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $22,663 sits slightly below last year's $25,236.

That drop suggests the Outlander is already carrying meaningful depreciation, which can work in your favor as a buyer but may limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, buying at a lower entry price matters because the market has already moved down from last year’s level. A well-priced purchase gives you a better chance of minimizing the hit when it’s time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $25,480, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,663 average.
• It adds refreshed interior tech and a new sound system.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it costs less and has already softened in price. If you care more about the newer refresh and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter buy; for shoppers prioritizing the latest updates, the 2025 is worth a look.
