Used 2024 Lexus RX for Sale nearAugusta, GA

How much does the 2024 Lexus RX cost?

Prices have softened 6.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,899 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy number of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Lexus RX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The RX is built around comfort, luxury, and fuel efficiency, so it makes the most sense if you want a refined daily driver rather than something flashy. Its cabin is quiet and its running costs are helped by strong fuel economy, but the trade-off is fairly pedestrian performance and styling that may not appeal to everyone.

One of the main compromises is that some interior materials feel cheap, which can undercut the premium impression. The RX also leans more toward comfort than driver engagement, so it is not the best fit if you want a more exciting SUV.

With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The RX’s appeal is rooted in comfort, refinement, and a reputation for being a dependable luxury crossover. Its design prioritizes a quiet cabin and an easygoing daily-driving experience, and the expert evaluation reinforces that it is aimed at buyers who value consistency over drama.

The performance notes also point to a powertrain lineup that is tuned for smoothness rather than complexity, which can be a plus for long-term ownership. The main used-buyer risk is that a poorly maintained example may not deliver the premium feel you expect, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus RX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are shopping outside the cleanest listings. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the equipment level matches what you expect from the trim you are considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin design is more conventional in lower trims, while the top Luxury trim adds faux suede inserts in the seats, doors, and roof pillars for a softer feel. Base-trim equipment is more restrained, so you should compare cabin materials and convenience features carefully before deciding.
• Powertrain: The RX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and available FWD or AWD. The RX 350h hybrid uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 246 hp and 233 lb-ft, a CVT, and standard AWD.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 comes standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear passenger safe-exit system. Premium trim adds parking proximity sensors, while Luxury trim adds a head-up display.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get a 9.8-inch touchscreen, while other models use a 14-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the system also supports cloud-based navigation and over-the-air-style connected services through a subscription trial.
• Fuel efficiency: The FWD RX 350 is estimated at 25 mpg combined, while the AWD version drops to 24 mpg. The RX 350h is estimated at 36 mpg combined, and the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid is rated at 35 mpg combined with 37 miles of electric-only range.

Which 2024 Lexus RX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus RX is offered in 4 trim levels: RX 350, RX 350h, RX 500h F Sport Performance, RX 450h+.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core RX experience with the turbocharged 2.4-liter engine, available FWD or AWD, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and are comfortable giving up the extra efficiency of the hybrid models.
• RX 350h: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it adds standard AWD and much better fuel economy while staying closer to the mainstream RX mission of comfort and refinement. If you want the strongest balance of efficiency and everyday usability, this is the one to target.
• RX 500h F Sport Performance: This is the choice if you want the most power in the lineup, with 366 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. It is the trim to consider if you care more about stronger acceleration than maximum efficiency.
• RX 450h+: This plug-in hybrid is the priciest model and adds 37 miles of electric-only range, making it the right fit if you can charge regularly and want the most electrified version of the RX.

All RX models come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, while Premium trim adds parking proximity sensors and Luxury trim adds a head-up display.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RX?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are selective and ready to move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,899 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,599, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $48,599 sits slightly below last year's $51,950.

That price movement suggests the RX has softened enough to give used buyers a better entry point than they had a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend heavily on how well your vehicle is equipped and how clean its history is.

Because the RX is positioned around comfort, refinement, and efficiency, well-kept examples should continue to attract shoppers looking for a premium daily driver. A strong condition report and desirable equipment can help support your asking price later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX safe?

The 2024 Lexus RX earned five-star ratings in overall and side collision protection and four-star ratings in frontal and rollover tests from NHTSA. The FWD RX 350 is rated four-star overall. The IIHS awarded it a Top Safety Pick rating, with Good scores in all crashworthiness evaluations except the moderate frontal overlap test, where it received Poor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 comes standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear passenger safe-exit system. Premium trim adds parking proximity sensors, and Luxury trim adds a head-up display.

The main caveat is the poor IIHS result in the moderate frontal overlap test, which is worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority. Some driver-assistance features can also be a little conservative and may produce extra alerts.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 RX combines comfort, luxury, and fuel efficiency while keeping the cabin quiet and refined.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $45,055, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $48,599 average.
• It stays true to the RX formula while adding enough dynamic and technological polish to feel current.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market availability, clean inventory, and a well-rounded luxury experience, the 2024 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2023 is the smarter path and still delivers the RX’s core strengths.
