How much does the 2024 Lexus LX cost?

Prices have softened 8.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2024 Lexus LX a good car?

The 2024 Lexus LX stands out because it blends serious off-road hardware with the kind of luxury expected from a flagship SUV. It is built for buyers who want a full-size luxury SUV that does not give up capability for comfort, and it offers two- or three-row flexibility in the lineup.

Lexus describes it as having a strong reputation for real off-road capability and reliability, and that character is backed by full-time four-wheel drive, a locking center differential, high-articulation suspension systems, Crawl Control, and Multi-Terrain Select. It is also meant to be comfortable and refined, with smooth and quiet on-road manners that make it feel at home far from the trail as well as on it.

35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus LX reliable?

The 2024 Lexus LX is described as having a strong reputation for reliability, and that reputation is part of its appeal as a flagship SUV. It also pairs that durability-minded image with serious off-road hardware and a refined driving experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium, highly capable SUV can be expensive to keep in top condition if prior maintenance has been inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus LX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you are seriously considering, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, drivetrain, and electronics, since this is a complex luxury SUV with serious off-road hardware. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the refinement and capability you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus LX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 189 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $88,845, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus LX's resale value?

The current average of $88,845 sits slightly below last year's $97,213.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you a better entry point than a year ago. For a future seller, that can help if you buy at the right price now, because you are starting from a lower basis than buyers were facing last year. The LX's strong reputation and premium positioning should still support resale appeal, but your eventual return will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus LX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.61% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 LX makes the most sense if you want the current-generation blend of luxury, off-road capability, and a softer used-market price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a strong balance of features, reputation, and market value.
