Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Kia Soul stands out for its quirky, boxy personality, practical interior space, and value-conscious appeal, and it is described as a subcompact hatchback with a lot of room inside. It also offers broad everyday usefulness, which makes it a smart fit if you want something compact that still feels versatile and easy to live with. That means you should treat a used purchase as a condition-sensitive buy and pay close attention to maintenance history and recall completion. For long-term ownership, the main risk is ending up with a neglected example that needs extra catch-up work.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Soul?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and recall work. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, neglected maintenance, and any signs that the car has been used hard. Focus on overall condition, because a clean-looking Soul can still hide issues if it has not been cared for consistently.

What is the 2024 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $18,082 sits slightly below last year's $18,358.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum. A well-kept example should still hold appeal because the Soul’s practical packaging and distinctive personality give it a clear identity in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.50% compared with last year.
