Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings Jeep’s familiar blend of capability and premium features into a three-row package, with a broad spread of trims that ranges from basic and affordable to luxurious and pricey. That makes it a fit if you want a family SUV that can feel upscale while still keeping Jeep’s off-road identity intact. Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is described as a relatively new design with a strong mix of technology and comfort features, including advanced driver assistance and upscale interior equipment on higher trims. Its available four-wheel-drive systems and broad trim range suggest a vehicle built to serve different needs well, from practical family use to more premium setups. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a poorly equipped or neglected example that does not match the model’s stronger trims and options.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the title and service history are clean. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior electronics, comfort features, and any four-wheel-drive equipment, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on configuration. Focus on overall condition and trim-specific equipment so you know you are paying for the version you actually want.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $33,376 sits slightly below last year's $34,104.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently today, but it also suggests future sellers may need to stay competitive when it is time to trade in or list the vehicle. A model that is already priced below its prior-year average can be easier to move if it is well kept and properly equipped. Strong condition and desirable features matter more when the market is already showing some price pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,479, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,376 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and premium feel over raw capability.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one in strong condition and with the equipment you want.
