How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,424 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The overview points to a model that blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, family-friendly feel, while also offering a wide range of trims and available four-wheel-drive systems. That makes it a fit if you want capability without giving up comfort, technology, or a more upscale cabin on higher trims. With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the 2024 Grand Cherokee is built around a familiar formula: broad trim availability, multiple four-wheel-drive setups, and a straightforward powertrain lineup. That kind of established approach can be reassuring if you want a used SUV with a clear identity and a wide range of configurations. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is usually tied to how the specific vehicle was equipped and maintained, so condition and service history matter more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim model with more equipment or a vehicle that may have seen heavier use. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the features you want are actually present and functioning as advertised.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,424 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,733, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,733 sits slightly below last year's $34,658.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well your vehicle holds its condition and equipment appeal. If you buy at the right price and keep the SUV clean, documented, and well maintained, you give yourself a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2024 is the better pick if you want a newer Grand Cherokee with a strong satisfaction signal, broad inventory, and a softer price trend than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2024 gives you a good balance of market availability, condition, and model-year freshness.
