You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing multiple examples at similar prices. Focus on maintenance records, tire and brake wear, and any signs that the vehicle has been driven harder than the listing suggests.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. A lower entry price can help cushion future depreciation, especially if you choose a clean, well-documented example.

Should I buy a 2024 Jaguar F-PACE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of price, inventory, and clean listings, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, compare nearby years as well, but keep the 2024 on your shortlist because it already shows meaningful depreciation and a decent share of favorable deals.
