Used 2024 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Venue cost?

Prices have softened 3.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,362 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Venue earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Hyundai positions it as a small, affordable crossover SUV, and the data backs that up with a low entry price, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a long warranty with roadside assistance and complimentary scheduled maintenance. The trade-offs are clear in the expert notes: performance is sluggish, and the back seat and cargo area are both limited.

For you, that means the Venue makes the most sense if you want a stylish, well-equipped small SUV that keeps ownership costs down rather than one that prioritizes speed or space. 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Venue’s reliability case is reinforced by Hyundai’s long warranty coverage, roadside assistance, and complimentary scheduled maintenance, all of which reduce the burden of early ownership. The expert notes also point to a simple 1.6-liter four-cylinder setup and front-wheel drive, which keeps the mechanical formula straightforward.

Hyundai also says the Venue includes important safety features, and the expert review describes it as a budget-friendly choice with strong value protection against breakdowns and repairs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about living with its modest power and compact packaging over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has seen city use, curb strikes, or heavy commuting. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the cabin and cargo area show the kind of wear you’d expect from a budget-friendly small SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Venue comes in SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels, and the upgrade to SEL is recommended because it looks better on the outside and adds desirable convenience and important safety features. The Limited trim adds a more sophisticated infotainment setup, but it also switches from wireless to wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Powertrain: Every Venue uses a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 121 horsepower and front-wheel drive. The engine is adequate around town, but the expert notes describe the Venue as most at home in cities and suburbs, with sluggish performance when you ask for more.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert starts on SEL, and cyclist detection is standard on Limited.
• Infotainment: The Venue has an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth with music streaming, Bluelink connected services, and a six-speaker sound system. Limited adds navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, and Bluelink+.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venue is rated at 31 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Hyundai Venue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Venue is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Venue formula at the lowest price. It makes sense if you want the cheapest path into the model, but the data points you toward stepping up if you want a better-looking and better-equipped version.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim. It adds desirable convenience and important safety features, and the review specifically recommends it as the minimum upgrade. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, this is the one to target.
• Limited: This trim is for you if you want the most sophisticated Venue experience. It adds navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, and Bluelink+, but it also changes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to wired connections.

Hyundai SmartSense is standard across the lineup, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert starts on SEL and cyclist detection is standard on Limited.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,362 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,724, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,777 sits slightly below last year's $19,549.

That decline suggests the Venue has softened in the used market, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favorable if you’re planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the model’s value is still supported by its affordability, standard equipment, and strong ownership appeal.

Because the price trend has moved down, you may not see the same resale upside you’d get from a hotter used model. Even so, vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue safe?

The 2024 Venue gets Good ratings in three different IIHS crash tests, coupled with an Acceptable rating for the Limited trim level’s brighter LED headlights, and it earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Starting with SEL, you also get blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, while cyclist detection is standard on Limited.

The main caveat is that adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist are not available. The expert review also notes a few inaccurate alerts and responses from the lane systems, so you should treat the driver-assistance tech as helpful but not flawless.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• A standout highlight for this year is the combination of standard wireless smartphone integration and a long warranty with complimentary scheduled maintenance.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of price, equipment, and ownership perks, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can shop the broader Venue market for the lowest-mileage, best-conditioned example and focus on the trims that give you the most safety and convenience for the money.
