Used 2024 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Venue cost?

Prices have softened 3.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,411 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Venue earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

It fits best if you want a budget-friendly crossover SUV with a low starting price, strong value, and useful everyday tech. The Venue also brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus important safety features, which helps it feel well equipped for the money.

The trade-offs are clear: performance is sluggish, and space is limited, especially in the back seat and cargo area. Even so, the Venue’s practical urban focus and strong value story make it appealing if you care more about affordability than speed or roominess.

The market looks healthy, with 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Venue’s value case is reinforced by a long warranty with roadside assistance and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles. It also comes across as a simple, low-cost vehicle to own, with a powertrain and front-wheel-drive setup that suits its budget-focused mission.

Its 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is described as adequate for city and suburban use, and the CVT helps make the most of the available power. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Venue’s modest performance and busy ride can become more noticeable as mileage and wear add up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a thorough inspection, especially if you’re considering a lower-priced listing. Focus on overall condition, since the Venue’s value proposition depends heavily on getting the expected equipment, safety features, and maintenance history for the money.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Hyundai sells the 2024 Venue in SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels. The SEL is the minimum upgrade recommendation because it looks better on the outside and adds desirable convenience and important safety features, while the Limited adds more equipment but also changes some infotainment behavior in a way that is less convenient.
• Powertrain: The Venue uses a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 121 horsepower and front-wheel drive. It is tuned for city use, with a CVT that helps maximize the available power, but the overall performance is still described as sluggish.
• Safety package: Every Venue has Hyundai SmartSense, which includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Starting with SEL, it adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Limited adds cyclist detection. Adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist are not available.
• Infotainment: The Venue has an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluelink connected services, and a six-speaker sound system. The Limited adds navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, and Bluelink+, but it switches Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to wired versions.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venue earns 31 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Hyundai Venue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Venue is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Venue’s core value story with the standard engine, standard infotainment, and standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest price, but you give up the extra convenience and safety equipment that make the higher trims easier to live with.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim because it adds desirable convenience and important safety features while staying below the top trim’s price. If you want the smartest balance of equipment and cost, this is the one to target.
• Limited: This is the most feature-rich version, with navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, Bluelink+, and cyclist detection. It suits you if you want the most tech and convenience, but the infotainment setup becomes less convenient because wireless phone integration switches to wired.

Starting with SEL, SmartSense adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Limited adds cyclist detection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,724, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,878 sits slightly below last year's $19,506.

That softer pricing suggests the Venue is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can matter if you plan to resell in the near future. A lower current average can help you buy at a better entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless market conditions improve.

For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible. The Venue’s affordability and broad appeal should help support demand, but its resale performance will still depend on mileage, condition, and trim.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue safe?

The 2024 Venue gets Good ratings in three different crash tests, coupled with an Acceptable rating for the Limited trim level’s brighter LED headlights, and it earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Starting with SEL, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is added, and Limited gets cyclist detection.

There are a couple of caveats to keep in mind. Adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist are not available, and the lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist systems produced some inaccurate alerts during testing.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Expert or safety highlight specific to this year from the 2024 model: it combines wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Hyundai SmartSense and a four-star overall NHTSA rating.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and feature content, the 2024 is the easy path to consider first. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also shop nearby years, but the 2024 already looks attractive thanks to softer pricing and solid deal availability.
