Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,418 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech, and generous room for passengers. The Palisade also comes across as a comfortable family hauler with strong value for money, which fits its role as a roomy three-row SUV for shoppers who want substance and style in one package.

The main trade-offs are its polarizing design and poor fuel economy, and some owners wish it had leather seats and power adjustments at this price. Even so, the overall package is compelling if you want a well-equipped midsize SUV with a premium feel.

Good and great deals account for 45.0% of listings, so there are meaningful opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as luxurious, well equipped, and comfortable, with a sense that it delivers a lot of value over time. The expert evaluation also points to a vehicle that feels thoughtfully packaged and broadly well executed, with long warranty and roadside assistance coverage plus three years of complimentary scheduled service.

That combination lowers the stress of ownership, but used buyers should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition because long-term satisfaction depends on how well the previous owner cared for the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with lots of family-duty wear. Pay close attention to interior condition, electronics, and signs of heavy use, since this SUV’s appeal depends heavily on its comfort and equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from SE to Calligraphy Night Edition, and the lower trims are the ones most likely to leave out some of the upscale touches that make the Palisade feel special. The Calligraphy Night Edition adds blacked-out exterior treatment, AWD, and a more luxury-like interior presentation.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. AWD models can lock the system to split power evenly, and the SUV is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving with AWD.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control, curve speed control, and lane-centering assist, with lane-change assist starting with the SEL Premium option package.
• Infotainment: Every Palisade has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM, and a rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection; wireless charging starts with SEL trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is rated at 21 mpg combined, and the test loop returned 18.8 mpg in Comfort mode.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Palisade’s core space, comfort, and V6 power at the lowest starting point.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful equipment while staying below the luxury-focused upper trims.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking trim, but note that some safety features available on other trims are not included here.
• Limited: This trim adds more of the premium equipment and blind-spot visibility tech that make the Palisade feel more upscale.
• Calligraphy: This is the move if you want the most luxurious standard presentation and the strongest blend of comfort and technology.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the Calligraphy experience with the blacked-out styling treatment and AWD standard.

The SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist, front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and surround-view plus Blind-Spot View Monitor camera systems.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

It’s a buyer-friendly market for this SUV, with plenty of listings and a meaningful share of well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 45.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,418 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,011, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $34,011 sits slightly below last year's $38,034.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favorable if you’re planning to sell soon. If you own one, the softer pricing means you may not recover as much as earlier sellers did, especially if your vehicle lacks desirable equipment or has visible wear.

On the other hand, the Palisade’s strong reputation for comfort, space, and value should help support demand among used buyers. Well-kept examples with the right trim and condition should remain easier to move than less desirable alternatives.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets a five-star rating for side-impact collisions plus a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control, curve speed control, and lane-centering assist, with lane-change assist starting with the SEL Premium option package.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not reflect the SUV’s performance in a newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 45.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a refreshed look with standard three-zone climate control and Bluelink+ connected services.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,223, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,011 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $35,236, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $34,011 average.
• It makes the SEL Premium a trim level and adds standard equipment to the XRT.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the current-year balance of features, value, and strong owner satisfaction. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter bargain; if you want the newest version and can stretch a bit, the 2025 is still worth a look.
