How much does the 2022 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 13.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,210 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable range of choices while shopping.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its spaciousness, luxury features, and smooth ride, and many also like the advanced technology and safety features. The Palisade’s three-row layout and polished cabin make it a strong fit if you want family-friendly space without giving up an upscale feel. The main trade-offs are unintuitive technology and sluggish touchscreen response, so it suits you best if comfort and features matter more than interface polish. With 39.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as spacious and dependable, with a reputation for a smooth, trouble-free ownership experience. The expert review also points to a strong warranty and three years of complimentary maintenance, which can help reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-mileage examples may show wear in the tech and comfort features that owners value most.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if it looks clean on paper. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, touchscreen behavior, and overall condition, since those are the areas most likely to affect your day-to-day experience. Focus on whether the vehicle’s features and trim level match your needs, especially if you want a more upscale setup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE uses an 8-inch screen and standard 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Limited and Calligraphy move to a 10.25-inch display, LED taillights, and more upscale cabin equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 with direct injection and an eight-speed automatic, plus front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive; the V6 is described as smooth and quick enough for family use, though efficiency is middling.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, and safe exit assist; Highway Driving Assist is optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy.
• Infotainment: The Palisade offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with an 8-inch screen on SE and SEL and a 10.25-inch touchscreen on Limited and Calligraphy; Blue Link is standard on upper trims and optional on SEL.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD models can achieve up to 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, while AWD models are rated at 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value-focused starting point, and it already gives you a well-equipped cabin, standard safety tech, and the core Palisade experience at the lowest price.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful convenience and tech upgrades without jumping all the way to luxury pricing.
• Limited: This is the right pick if you want the stronger infotainment setup, more premium audio, and extra driver-assistance and comfort features.
• Calligraphy: This is the most upscale choice, with the richest interior presentation and the most luxury-like feel in the lineup.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but Highway Driving Assist is optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.94% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,356 sits slightly below last year's $29,461.

That decline suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for sellers to command top dollar right away. A well-kept Palisade should still hold appeal thanks to its family-friendly layout and strong feature set.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,479, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,356 average.
