How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 4.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,460 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda Pilot earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its spaciousness, family-friendly cabin, and the value it offers for the money, especially when you compare it with pricier SUVs. The Pilot also stands out for its roomy seating and generous feature content, making it a practical fit if you want a three-row SUV that can handle daily family duty. With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value a roomy SUV that can handle family use over time. That said, some buyers noted concerns about engine performance and handling, so your long-term satisfaction may depend on choosing the right trim and condition. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright reliability and more about whether the specific vehicle has been maintained well and matches your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title history, and any major repairs. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain behavior, since condition matters most on a family SUV that may have seen heavy daily use. It also makes sense to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether all features work as expected, especially if you want the Pilot’s value to hold up after purchase.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,460 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,783, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $38,953 sits slightly below last year's $40,979.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you can reduce depreciation pressure when it is time to sell. Demand should remain steady for shoppers who want a spacious three-row SUV with broad appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,944, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,953 average.
• It brings a redesigned look with more power and thoughtful convenience features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $42,386, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,953 average.
• It keeps the formula simple with a practical, easy-to-live-with setup.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary pick. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to spend more for a newer model year.
