Should I buy a 2024 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,305, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,325 average.
• It brings a redesigned look and a more modern foundation.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the smarter value-focused alternative.
