You should still review the history report carefully and confirm that the vehicle has no hidden damage or unresolved claims. Should I buy a 2025 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.59% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $28,566, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $26,137 average.
• It adds a refreshed infotainment system with a larger, faster touchscreen.

The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want a lower purchase price and a strong mix of practicality and everyday usability. If you can stretch for the newer model and want the updated tech, the 2026 is the secondary path, but price-sensitive buyers should stay focused on the 2025.
