Used 2024 Genesis GV70 for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2024 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 9.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,359 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

It stands out as a distinctive small luxury SUV with stylish design, impressive technology, and multiple powertrain options, including an all-electric version that adds uncommon appeal in this class. The trade-offs are clear: its ergonomic design is poor, and its ride and handling are merely adequate, so it leans more toward style and features than sharp dynamic polish.

For you, that means the GV70 makes the most sense if you want a fresh-feeling luxury crossover with strong tech and a standout powertrain choice rather than the most polished driving experience. The market also shows 37.5% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV70 is still a relatively fresh model, and its overall package points to solid day-to-day dependability for used buyers who want a luxury SUV with a strong feature set. Its powertrain lineup is straightforward, and the electrified version adds a well-integrated alternative without making the vehicle feel more ungainly than the gasoline model.

Genesis also backs the GV70 with generous warranty coverage, including a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile new vehicle warranty. For used shoppers, the main long-term risk is less about the brand’s coverage and more about choosing a well-maintained example with the right equipment and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing trims with different wheel sizes, powertrains, or tech content. Focus on condition details that matter in a luxury SUV: interior wear, wheel and tire condition, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific car you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GV70’s styling and cabin details vary by grade, with available touches like quilted Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and distinctive wheel designs. Base versions are simpler, while higher trims add more upscale presentation and equipment.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with 375 hp and 391 lb-ft, or an electrified model with 429 hp and 516 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist sensors, and Highway Driving Assist. Highway Driving Assist 2 adds automated lane changes and blind-spot monitoring.
• Infotainment: All models get a 14.5-inch touchscreen and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Lower trims use an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, while higher grades get a 12.3-inch unit; a 12-inch head-up display and a 16-speaker Lexicon audio system are also available.
• Fuel efficiency: The base turbo-four with 19-inch wheels is rated at 24 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway). With 21-inch wheels, it drops to 22 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway), and the twin-turbo V6 is rated at 20 mpg combined (18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway).

Which 2024 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Genesis GV70 is offered in 7 trim levels: 2.5T Standard, 2.5T Select, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport, 3.5T Sport Advanced, 3.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T Standard: This is the entry point, and it gives you the GV70’s core style, standard all-wheel drive, and strong tech foundation without pushing the price too high. It’s the trim to start with if you want the GV70 experience at the lowest cost.
• 2.5T Select: This is the first step up if you want a better-equipped version without jumping too far in price. It should suit you if you want more comfort and convenience while staying in the four-cylinder lineup.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it moves deeper into the GV70’s luxury and tech strengths without reaching the top-end pricing. If you want the sweet spot, this is the one to focus on.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: This trim adds the most upscale presentation in the four-cylinder range, including more premium visual and comfort touches. Choose it if you want a richer feel and are willing to pay for it.
• 3.5T Sport: This is the starting point for the V6 lineup, and it’s the right pick if you want the stronger engine and a more performance-oriented character. It makes sense if acceleration matters more to you than efficiency.
• 3.5T Sport Advanced: This is the middle ground in the V6 lineup, giving you more equipment than the base 3.5T Sport while staying below the top trim. It’s a good fit if you want the V6 but don’t need every available feature.
• 3.5T Sport Prestige: This is the most luxurious gasoline GV70 trim, with the richest equipment and the most premium feel in the lineup. Buy this if you want the fully loaded version and don’t mind paying for it.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but Highway Driving Assist 2 is the more advanced available system if you want the extra driver-assistance capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,359 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,557, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $39,573 sits slightly below last year's $43,627.

That decline suggests the GV70 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower point than last year’s market, which can help cushion depreciation if the model holds demand well.

The GV70’s distinctive styling, strong technology, and broad appeal in the small luxury SUV segment should help support interest over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2024 Genesis GV70 earns the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick+ award.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist sensors, and Highway Driving Assist. A more advanced Highway Driving Assist 2 system is also available, adding automated lane-change capability and blind-spot monitoring.

One caveat is that complete 2024 NHTSA ratings were not available at the time of publication. For gasoline models, the agency did publish four-star frontal and rollover crash-test ratings.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model stands out for its distinctive styling, strong tech, and available all-electric powertrain.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,911, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $39,573 average.
• It offers polished craftsmanship and a refined, comfortable driving experience.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with strong market availability and a standout identity, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2023 is the smarter value play and still delivers the GV70’s core luxury appeal.
