Is the 2024 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 GMC Yukon. The overview points to a full-size SUV with a commanding presence, a roomy cabin, premium amenities, plush materials, and modern technology, so it fits well if you want a large family hauler with an upscale feel and understated styling. Is the 2024 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that this generation has not been especially strong for reliability so far, so you should approach a used purchase with careful inspection and a complete service history. What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the overall market looks clean. Put inspection priority on the vehicle’s condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that matter on a large, premium SUV. Focus especially on how well the cabin, electronics, and overall mechanical condition have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market for the 2024 GMC Yukon.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,585 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $62,255, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $62,255 sits slightly below last year's $72,580.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained than on broad market momentum alone. If you keep the SUV clean, documented, and mechanically sound, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 GMC Yukon makes the most sense if you want the current-generation Yukon’s roomy, upscale formula and you can take advantage of today’s softer pricing. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better starting point if you want a strong mix of inventory, value, and buyer appeal.
