You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s past matches the seller’s description. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the SUV’s features and equipment all work as expected.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $61,306 sits slightly below last year's $71,014.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well your vehicle holds up and how desirable it remains relative to similar listings. If you buy well and keep the SUV in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the current-generation Yukon’s blend of space, premium feel, and strong capability, especially with today’s softer pricing. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2024 gives you a compelling balance of inventory, condition, and market value.
