Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview frames this truck as one of the most extreme electric pickups on the market, with supercar-style performance, a highly unusual body style, and a long list of standard features. It also emphasizes use cases centered on attention-grabbing design, off-road hardware, and distinctive capability rather than conventional truck priorities. With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview presents it as a heavily equipped electric truck with substantial standard hardware, including four-wheel steering, air suspension, and advanced driver assistance technology. It also describes the truck as very heavy and inefficient, with braking that requires long stops at high speeds. For used buyers, that means reliability may be less about simple mechanical durability and more about how well the truck has been maintained and used over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck has not had hidden damage or major repairs. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the brakes, suspension, tires, and charging-related systems, since this is a heavy, high-performance EV with unusual hardware. Focus on overall condition and evidence of careful ownership, especially if the truck has been used hard off-road or for frequent fast charging.

What is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup's resale value?

The current average of $71,922 sits slightly below last year's $79,321.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face some pricing pressure if the trend continues. If you buy at the right number now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. Strong condition and clean history should matter a lot when it comes time to resell, especially in a niche vehicle like this.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.33% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:
