How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,016 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.7/5 model, and the expert rating is 6.8/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise the Bronco’s off-road capability, modern features, stylish interior, and distinctive design. The overview also points to its fun driving character and comfortable ride, with plenty of cargo space helping broaden its appeal beyond trail use.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and the lack of a hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, plus the need for a cloth seat option. That makes it especially appealing if you want personality and capability first, and less ideal if efficiency is a top priority.

Good and great deals account for 35.1% of listings, which suggests you can still find competitive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a dependable-feeling SUV with strong off-road capability and modern features, and it also highlights the Bronco’s stylish interior and design. The expert drive notes reinforce that it feels satisfying in daily use and capable when the terrain gets rough.

Ford’s performance notes also describe the drivetrain as satisfying, with good acceleration, clean shifts, and easy 4-Hi and 4-Lo engagement. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Bronco’s rugged hardware and fuel appetite can make upkeep and running costs less forgiving over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has seen trail use or heavy modification. Focus on tire wear, suspension condition, interior wear, and signs of hard off-road use, since those can reveal more than the odometer alone.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package is a pricey upgrade that adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. The base setup is more modest, while higher trims and packages add more capability and a more rugged look.
• Powertrain: You can choose among three turbocharged engines, including a standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, and a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 in the Raptor. The 2.3-liter setup is described as satisfying, but fuel economy is a weak point.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The basic safety package includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines.
• Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo system. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says a Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine should return 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, Bronco Raptor, and the other Bronco variants explicitly referenced in the model-year content.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco experience without immediately jumping into pricier equipment. It already gets the standard 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the core safety features, making it the best-value starting point for many shoppers.
• Badlands: This trim is the better pick if you want a more rugged setup and are drawn to the Bronco’s off-road personality. The content specifically notes a more rugged front bumper on the Badlands, which makes it the trim to watch if trail-ready hardware matters to you.
• Bronco Raptor: This is the performance-focused choice, with the most powerful engine mentioned and the highest tow rating in the lineup. It suits you if you want the most extreme Bronco character and are willing to pay for it.

Ford’s safety package expands with the Mid Package, which adds Ford Co-Pilot360 features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,016 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,182, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $44,182 sits slightly below last year's $49,528.

That decline suggests the Bronco has softened from its prior pricing peak, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper short-term resale upside if you sell soon. If you buy at a favorable price, you reduce the risk of taking a hit later.

The Bronco’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, especially among shoppers who value its style and capability. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns favorable IIHS ratings overall, except for a Marginal headlight score, and it earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA with a three-rating for rollover resistance.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. Ford Co-Pilot360 adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, while adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system are also available.

The main caveat is that the Bronco’s crash-test picture is not fully complete, and the Marginal headlight result is worth noting if you drive often at night.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system, a more rugged front bumper on the Bronco Badlands, and two new colors for the Bronco Raptor.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,693, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,182 average.
• It offers broad configuration flexibility and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,966, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,182 average.
• It adds broader everyday comfort while keeping strong off-road capability.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, inventory, and updated tech, the 2024 is the smart default. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 can save you money while still delivering the Bronco’s core strengths.
