Used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

How much does the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona cost?

Prices have softened 28.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 179 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert rating of 7.67/10, you’re looking at a car that blends muscle-car attitude with modern EV practicality. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The overview and expert notes both point to a car that delivers strong straight-line speed, a sleek retro design, and usable cabin space for a performance-focused vehicle. That makes it a fit if you want a modern take on an American muscle car without giving up everyday usability.

The main trade-offs are clear: it is expensive, and the small front trunk is a reminder that EV packaging still brings compromises. The Scat Pack also asks more of your budget, even though it adds more power and hardware.

With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The expert review also describes the car as a fresh, modernized take on the Charger formula, with a more stable and refined driving experience than the outgoing model.

The performance notes emphasize strong acceleration, efficient highway passing, and a suspension that feels more composed than before. That suggests the car’s day-to-day behavior is polished, even if its weight and EV hardware make it a more complex machine than a traditional gas-powered muscle car.

If you buy used, your biggest long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging system have been treated well, since those are central to the car’s ownership experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance EV with expensive hardware. Focus on battery condition, charging behavior, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the car has been used hard or modified.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The R/T trim is the more approachable choice, while the Scat Pack adds more power and a more aggressive setup. The R/T is the better value if you want the core Charger Daytona experience without paying for the extra performance hardware.
• Powertrain: Both versions use a dual electric motor setup with all-wheel drive. The R/T makes 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, while the Scat Pack raises output to 630 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Every Charger Daytona includes full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification. A head-up instrument display and surround-view parking camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with UConnect 5, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo. The R/T has a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel standard, while a 16-inch display is optional and standard on the Scat Pack.
• Range & charging: The R/T is rated at 308 miles of range, while the Scat Pack is rated at 241 miles. Both can recharge from 20 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes on DC fast charging.
• Battery health: Check the battery state of health, ask how the car was typically charged, and confirm whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent fast charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have.

Which 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the better-value choice if you want the Charger Daytona’s core personality without paying for the top-end performance jump. It still delivers 456 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and the standard tech and safety equipment, while keeping the price and range more manageable.
• Scat Pack: Choose this if you want the full performance experience. It brings 630 horsepower, the standard 16-inch display, the head-up display and surround-view camera, plus the Track package content that adds firmer suspension tuning, adaptive damping, red brake calipers, and an onboard driving recorder.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, but the head-up display and surround-view camera are standard only on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 98.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,942, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona's resale value?

The current average of $35,942 sits slightly below last year's $50,263.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped.

Higher-output versions and well-kept examples should hold more appeal than rougher or heavily used cars. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Dodge equips every Charger Daytona with full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification. A head-up instrument display and surround-view parking camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.

Crash-test results from NHTSA and IIHS have not been published for this model year, so you should lean on the standard safety equipment and the expert safety score when evaluating it.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers strong straight-line speed with a practical coupe-or-sedan formula.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $35,411, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $35,942 average.
• It is described as the first true all-electric muscle car with more attitude and theater.

The bottom line: If you want the better-documented shopping opportunity, the 2024 is the safer primary pick because pricing has already softened and inventory is available. If you’re price-sensitive and want the newer model-year alternative, the 2025 is worth a look, but the 2024 still offers the stronger case for value-minded shoppers today.
