How much does the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 26.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,534 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Pacifica’s appeal comes through clearly in its stylish design, comfortable cabin, and easy-to-use technology, which make it a strong fit if you want a practical family minivan that still feels polished. At the same time, the expert review notes fairly pedestrian performance, cheap-feeling interior materials, and some functional issues in the cabin design.

For shoppers who want a well-rounded minivan that covers the basics well, those trade-offs are manageable. 46.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Pacifica’s reliability case is helped by its long-running platform and familiar 3.6-liter V6 setup, which has been used widely across Stellantis products. The expert review also describes the minivan as quiet, comfortable, and relatively refined, which supports the sense that it is built for steady everyday use rather than novelty.

Its standard equipment and straightforward powertrain should make ownership feel familiar, and the available maintenance coverage helps reduce early ownership friction. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright complexity and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any Pacifica you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a family vehicle like this, where interior wear, electronics, and feature operation can matter as much as mileage. Focus on overall condition, how the cabin has held up, and whether the equipment works as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Touring trim gets the essentials, but higher trims add more upscale equipment and available wheel sizes. If you want the best balance of features and value, the Touring L is the trim to focus on.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.6-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available on higher trims.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM with 360L, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. The Pacifica can also be equipped with built-in navigation and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Pacifica is rated at 22 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 Chrysler Pacifica trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Pacifica experience at the lowest starting price. It’s the trim to choose if you want the minivan’s style, tech, and practicality without paying for extras you may not need.
• Touring L: This is the best-value trim because it adds more equipment while staying below the upper trims. It’s also the first trim where all-wheel drive is available, which makes it the smart pick if you want broader capability.
• Limited: This trim moves you into a more upscale version of the Pacifica, with more available equipment and all-wheel drive. It makes sense if you want a nicer-feeling family hauler and are willing to pay more for it.
• Pinnacle: This is the top trim and the most luxurious version mentioned, with brown Nappa leather upholstery, quilted contrast stitching, white piping, and second-row pillows. Choose it if you want the most premium Pacifica experience.

Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, with solid deal availability and a meaningful drop in prices compared with last year.

• Deal availability: 46.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,534 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,090, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $24,090 sits slightly below last year's $32,695.

That price movement suggests the Pacifica has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future buyers but may be less favorable if you’re thinking about selling soon. If you buy at the right price now, you may be starting from a lower cost basis than shoppers who bought earlier.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the market stabilizes after this drop or continues to soften. A well-kept Pacifica with desirable equipment should still attract family buyers, but pricing discipline will matter if you want to protect your return.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica safe?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica was named a 2023 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), missing out on the highest Top Safety Pick+ award due to low scores in updated moderate overlap front and side crash tests and middling ratings for headlights and front crash prevention tech. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the 2024 Pacifica a five-star overall safety rating, including five stars in frontal and side crash tests and four stars in rollover crash tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.

The main caveat is that it missed the top IIHS award because of weaker results in updated crash tests and only middling headlight and front crash prevention performance.

Should I buy a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 46.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model adds a new emergency vehicle alert driver-assist feature and fresh color options.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of this minivan with the current-year feature updates and a strong market of listings to shop from, the 2024 is the straightforward choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 already looks attractive thanks to its lower pricing and broad inventory.
