How much does the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 28.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,944 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating, the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica lands as a strong all-around minivan choice. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Pacifica’s appeal comes from its stylish design, comfortable cabin, and easy-to-use technology, and it remains one of the few U.S.-market minivans available. It is also positioned as a practical family vehicle that covers the basics well, even if it has not been redesigned since 2017.

The trade-offs are that performance is fairly pedestrian and the interior materials feel cheap, while the interior design has some functional issues.

The market backs up that appeal, with 40.0% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Pacifica is described as a long-running, familiar minivan that has been on the market since 2017, and its V6 powertrain is presented as a good fit for the vehicle’s mission. The expert review also emphasizes that it is quiet, comfortable, and relatively refined compared with rivals, which supports the case for steady day-to-day dependability.

Its long-serving V6 and conventional automatic transmission point to a straightforward ownership experience, and the cabin-focused design suggests it is built for family use rather than novelty. If you buy used, the main long-term risk is that age-related wear and prior maintenance history matter more than the model’s basic formula.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics, and signs of heavy family use, since those are the areas most likely to show wear in a minivan.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Touring trim gets the essentials, including LED lighting and the standard cabin and tech setup, while higher trims add larger wheels and more upscale equipment. If you want the most value, the Touring L is the trim to compare closely because it opens the door to more available equipment without jumping straight to the top of the lineup.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.6-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on higher trims.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM with 360L, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. The instrument cluster also includes a 7-inch digital display.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 22 mpg combined, with 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for front-wheel-drive models, and 20 mpg combined, with 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway for all-wheel-drive models.

Which 2024 Chrysler Pacifica trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Pacifica’s core strengths without stretching the budget. It is the trim to start with if you want the Pacifica’s style, comfort, and standard tech at the lowest price.
• Touring L: This is the best-value trim to focus on because it adds more equipment while staying below the luxury-oriented upper trims. It is also one of the trims that can be paired with all-wheel drive, which broadens its appeal if you want extra traction.
• Limited: This trim moves you further up the comfort and equipment ladder, and it is a good fit if you want a more upscale family hauler without going all the way to the top.
• Pinnacle: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest interior presentation and the most premium feel in the lineup. It suits you best if you want the Pacifica at its most upscale and are willing to pay for it.

For safety-package shoppers, note that the 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this minivan, especially if you are comparing multiple listings and waiting for the right price.

• Deal availability: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,944 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,165, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $23,165 sits slightly below last year's $32,214.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you are not competing from a weak starting point.

The current price range also shows that values have settled into a lower band, which can make the Pacifica easier to shop now than it was a year ago. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica safe?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica was named a 2023 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), missing out on the highest Top Safety Pick+ award due to low scores in updated moderate overlap front and side crash tests and middling ratings for headlights and front crash prevention tech. It earns five-star ratings from NHTSA in frontal and side crash tests, and four-star ratings in rollover crash tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.

The main caveat is that it missed the top IIHS award because of weaker results in some updated crash tests and only middling headlight and front crash prevention performance.

Should I buy a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model adds a new emergency vehicle alert driver-assist feature and a handful of new color options.

The bottom line: If you want the current Pacifica with the latest small updates and a market that favors buyers, the 2024 is the straightforward choice. If your priority is simply the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024’s combination of softened pricing, strong inventory, and solid satisfaction makes it the safer default pick.
