Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale near Nebraska

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,975 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.75/5 user-rated truck with an expert score of 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado fits buyers who want a midsize truck that leans toward recreation and everyday usability rather than pure work-truck duty. Its strengths are easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling, which makes it appealing whether you’re commuting or heading out for weekend adventures.

The main trade-offs are the drab cabin materials and the fact that there is only one cab/bed style. Price is another consideration, especially if you’re comparing it with more value-focused trucks.

With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward turbocharged four-cylinder setup and its emphasis on modern, well-integrated equipment rather than complexity for its own sake. The truck is described as robustly engineered, and its powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic that does a good job managing power at different speeds.

Its standard equipment also includes a broad set of driver-assistance features, which can reduce day-to-day stress and help support ownership confidence. If you’re buying used, the biggest long-term risk is mainly tied to condition and maintenance history, especially on trucks that have seen hard use or off-road duty.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off-road or heavily loaded. Focus on cabin condition, suspension wear, and signs of hard use, since this model is positioned more as a lifestyle truck than a basic workhorse.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model and still brings a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio, but it keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The LT is the value pick because it adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, and a full front center console, while available packages can add fog lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, and upgraded lighting. The Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 add progressively more off-road hardware and trail-focused equipment.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power. The base version makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo Max version makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the stronger setup delivers stout acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: Every Colorado gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel. The system also includes Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, a digital dock of buttons, and an actual volume dial.
• Fuel efficiency: The most efficient version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The 4WD version returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. The standard ZR2 returns 17 mpg across the board, and the ZR2 Bison returns 16 mpg across the board.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the core tech you want, including the digital gauge display and the 11.3-inch touchscreen. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live with the more basic cabin materials.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds useful everyday upgrades without pushing you into off-road territory. If you want the smartest balance of comfort, convenience, and price, this is the one to target.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a more trail-ready setup with a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This trim keeps many of the Trail Boss’s chassis enhancements while adding a more upscale feel with unique upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks.
• ZR2: This is the most serious off-road trim, with additional trail-ready chassis upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed liner.

The LT Convenience Package III is the key safety-package upgrade because it adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,975 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,916, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $36,932 sits slightly below last year's $39,461.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper resale upside if you sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to protect value later. The Colorado’s broad appeal as a modern midsize truck should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado safe?

The Colorado earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in all other NHTSA tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse automatic emergency braking are added with LT Convenience Package III, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.

The main caveat is the rollover result, which trails the truck’s otherwise strong crash performance.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends modern tech with strong off-road capability and a more recreation-focused setup.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,665, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,932 average.
• It emphasizes modern basics in a crew-cab, short-bed package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $39,357, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,932 average.
• It adds broader appeal with a powerful standard engine and more off-road-focused options.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of modern tech, strong capability, and current-market pricing, the 2024 is the primary target. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to pay more for the newer-year alternative.
