How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices have softened 2.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 923 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the Camaro’s overview points to a lighter, smaller, tauter, and more efficient sixth-generation design with world-class power and driving dynamics. It also gives you coupe or convertible body styles, so you can choose the version that best fits how you want to drive and live with the car. For shoppers who want a rear-wheel-drive performance car with everyday usability and a broad spread of performance-focused options, that combination is compelling. Good and great deals account for 30.3% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes reliability as above average overall, which is encouraging if you want a used performance car that still has a practical side. It also notes that the sixth-generation cars from 2016 to 2018 were the most problematic, with trunk leaks that can lead to electrical issues. For a used buyer, that means condition and maintenance history matter, especially if you want to reduce the risk of expensive ownership surprises.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Camaro?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s condition with a careful inspection. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, water intrusion, and any wear that could affect a performance car’s drivability or long-term upkeep. Because the Camaro’s appeal depends so much on how it feels and presents, a clean, well-kept example is worth more than one with hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Camaro?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 923 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,060, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $43,454 sits slightly below last year's $44,462.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests future resale will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how desirable the specific example is. If you buy a clean, well-documented Camaro, you’re more likely to preserve value than if you choose one with questionable history or visible wear. The market still shows enough demand to support resale, especially for shoppers who want a distinctive rear-wheel-drive performance car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the final year of the sixth-generation Camaro, the 2024 is the one to target because it combines strong satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a meaningful amount of clean inventory. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still shop nearby model years and compare condition closely, but the 2024 is the best fit if you want the last version of this generation with the broadest appeal.
