Used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ for Sale nearNew Brunswick, NJ

How much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost?

Prices have softened 10.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,576 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ earns a 4.62/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the comfortable and quiet ride, stylish appearance, strong acceleration, advanced tech features, and impressive range. In practical terms, that makes it appealing if you want a higher-priced two-row electric SUV that feels upscale and distinctive rather than ordinary.

The trade-offs are clear: the driving experience is not especially exciting, handling is poor, and some interior areas have mediocre build quality. Even so, the LYRIQ fits well if you value comfort, technology, and range over sporty dynamics.

Good and great deals account for 40.4% of listings, so there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels comfortable, quiet, and impressive over time, with many drivers also highlighting its range and advanced tech. That combination suggests you can count on it for daily use if you prioritize refinement and convenience.

The expert evaluation also describes the LYRIQ as calm, poised, and well suited to interstate driving, which reinforces its long-distance comfort and dependable road manners. Cadillac also notes that the available 19.2-kW Level 2 onboard charger can cut home charging time, which is a useful ownership perk.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that charging and electronics concerns, along with build-quality issues, may show up more often than you’d like, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of clean listings, you should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection. Focus on charging behavior, electronics operation, and interior condition, since those are the areas most likely to affect your ownership experience.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin presentation changes with trim, and the Sport trim tested here uses a darker exterior motif, while Tech and Luxury trims feature grille lines that sweep toward the illuminated Cadillac crest. Base-trim equipment gaps matter most if you want the most upscale look and feel.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a single rear motor with 340 hp and 325 lb-ft, while the optional dual-motor setup adds continuous all-wheel drive with 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The dual-motor version is the one to consider if you want AWD traction and stronger output.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.
• Infotainment: The 33-inch OLED display is a major highlight, with native Google Maps and Google Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and simple menus. The system is one of the LYRIQ’s strongest selling points.
• Range & charging: Cadillac claims 314 miles of range with rear-wheel drive and 307 miles with AWD from the 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack. DC fast charging can top the battery to 80 percent in about 30 to 35 minutes, and the available 19.2-kW Level 2 onboard charger is worth seeking out for faster home charging.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has been charged, and review remaining battery warranty coverage. A car that has mostly seen home charging and has a clean charging history is generally the safer bet than one with heavy fast-charging use or inconsistent charging habits.

Which 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ is offered in 3 trim levels: Tech, Luxury, Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Tech: This is the entry point, so it makes the most sense if you want the LYRIQ’s core strengths — the big screen, strong range, and upscale design — at the lowest price. It is the trim to start with if value matters most.
• Luxury: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more of the upscale feel that suits the LYRIQ’s mission without pushing you all the way to the top of the range. If you want the most balanced mix of comfort and equipment, this is the one to focus on.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the darker, more aggressive appearance and are willing to pay more for style. It suits buyers who care most about the LYRIQ’s visual presence.

The standard safety package includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, with solid deal availability and a meaningful amount of inventory to choose from.

• Deal availability: 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,576 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,111, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $38,111 sits slightly below last year's $42,474.

That decline suggests the LYRIQ has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may benefit from the softer market, but resale will likely depend on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained.

Strong condition, desirable equipment, and clean history should help support demand when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ safe?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ has not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat, which vibrates the cushions instead of using audible alerts. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 is the first full model year of Cadillac's midsize electric SUV, with a properly upscale interior and just over 300 miles of range.

The bottom line: The 2024 LYRIQ is the better pick if you want the first full model year of Cadillac’s electric SUV with strong tech, comfort, and a more favorable used-car price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the softer market makes this a good year to shop carefully and target the best-equipped example you can find.
