Is the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ is positioned as a midsize luxury EV with a distinctly upscale cabin, and its appeal centers on stylish design, impressive technology, a comfortable ride, and strong acceleration. It also benefits from Cadillac’s more distinctive EV identity, which helps it stand apart from the brand’s recent gas-powered offerings.

At the same time, the broader assessment is more measured than glowing, with the EV side described as average and some concerns around handling, build quality, and storage. 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful share of the market to target.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and overall finish, since luxury EV shoppers tend to notice quality issues quickly. Focus on whether the vehicle feels well cared for, because condition matters more than mileage alone in this segment.

What is the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $45,381 sits slightly below last year's $57,743.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.41% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,209, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,381 average.
• The 2024 offers a more established first full model-year feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year market with strong inventory and a meaningful price drop from last year. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
