You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s reported condition and equipment. Focus on overall wear and maintenance evidence so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has been neglected.

The current average of $44,655 sits slightly below last year's $55,491.

That price movement suggests the LYRIQ has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.53% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,896, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $44,655 average.
• It offers a more established first full-year version of the LYRIQ.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory and deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and may be the smarter pick for price-sensitive buyers.
