What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition. Put inspection priority on bodywork, electronics, charging equipment, and overall cabin wear, since those details matter most when you are comparing used EVs. Focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than stretching for the lowest sticker price.

The current average of $45,025 sits slightly below last year's $56,188.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. A clean history and strong maintenance records should help you preserve more value than a rougher example.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.87% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,976, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,025 average.
• The 2024 offers a more established first full model-year feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, clean listings, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and may leave more room in your budget for a higher-trim example or added options.
