Used 2024 Cadillac CT5 for Sale nearHomestead, FL

How much does the 2024 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 13.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,062 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It’s a midsize luxury sedan that Cadillac positions above the CT4, and it’s described as a multitalented luxury sedan that’s also a decent value. That makes it a good fit if you want a premium sedan with a more distinctive personality than a comfort-first rival.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer much cargo space, advanced safety features are not standard, and the interior design is only mediocre. Even so, the CT5’s engaging driving character and broad powertrain lineup help it stand out.

With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CT5 is described as a carryover model for 2024, which suggests a familiar formula rather than a risky redesign. Its expert notes also emphasize a balanced mix of luxury and sportiness, along with a good value proposition for the segment.

The performance notes point to a car that feels composed and enjoyable rather than fragile or overly complicated, and the cost-effectiveness notes highlight Cadillac’s four-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and six-year, 70,000-mile powertrain coverage. That combination should help reduce ownership anxiety if you’re buying used.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the core mechanical package and more about choosing a well-kept example with the right options and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has higher mileage, optional equipment, or signs of heavy use. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s value depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and equipped.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base CT5 Luxury is the entry point, while Premium Luxury and Sport add more equipment and a more upscale or athletic presentation. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more, especially if you care about premium features rather than just the badge.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, both paired with a 10-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional, and the V6 gives you the stronger performance and quicker acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Super Cruise is available on Premium Luxury and Sport, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get three USB ports and wireless phone charging, while the Technology Package adds a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four is rated at 27 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 25 mpg combined with all-wheel drive. The twin-turbo V6 is rated at 22 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 21 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 5 trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the CT5’s core design and driving character at the lowest starting price. It’s the trim most likely to feel stripped down compared with the others, so it’s best if you plan to keep options simple.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel and is eligible for the Technology Package and Super Cruise. If you want the CT5 to feel properly premium without jumping into the performance models, this is the one to target.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the same general equipment level as Premium Luxury but prefer the more aggressive styling and available tech upgrades. It suits you best if appearance and a sportier vibe matter as much as comfort.
• CT5-V: This is the step for buyers who want more power and a stronger performance focus. It’s the right pick if you want the CT5 to lean harder into speed and driving excitement.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the high-performance choice, with the most extreme hardware in the lineup. Buy it if you want the most serious performance character and are willing to pay for it.

Premium Luxury and Sport can also be equipped with Super Cruise, which is one of the CT5’s standout safety and convenience upgrades.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

The market looks moderately favorable if you’re a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,062 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,476, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $38,521 sits slightly below last year's $44,669.

That drop suggests the CT5 has become more affordable for used buyers, which can help demand in the near term. For a future seller, it also means you may be entering ownership after some of the steepest depreciation has already happened.

Because the current price is still within a relatively tight year-round range, condition and equipment will matter a lot when you eventually resell. Well-kept examples with desirable options should be easier to move than plain or heavily worn ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, including five-star overall, frontal, side, and rollover crash-test results.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Optional safety features include adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic emergency braking, front park assist, a 360-degree camera system, and automatic parking assist.

Super Cruise is available on Premium Luxury and Sport, and it adds hands-free driving support on most U.S. highways as long as you keep your eyes on the road. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to shop carefully if those systems matter to you.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a decent-value, multitalented luxury sedan.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,690, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,521 average.
• It blends sharp handling with expressive styling.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $44,074, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,521 average.
• It adds a new 33-inch display and more standard safety tech.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If you’re more price-sensitive and can live without the latest updates, the 2023 is the value play; if you want newer tech and more safety content, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
