Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a vehicle that owners describe as luxurious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with advanced safety features contributing to confidence over time. That kind of feedback usually matters most when you plan to keep a used SUV for several years. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example has been maintained well and still feels as solid as its reputation suggests.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X7?

You should still run a history report so you can confirm the vehicle’s background and spot any hidden issues. It also makes sense to spend extra time evaluating how the third row, controls, and comfort features work for your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X7?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,590 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,716, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X7's resale value?

The current average of $61,716 sits slightly below last year's $69,349.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that depreciation pressure is real, so condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to list the vehicle. Strong presentation and a clean history should help you stand out in a market where buyers are price-aware.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $53,450, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $61,716 average.
• It offers a refreshed look with updated tech, though the interface can feel frustrating.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $71,753, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $61,716 average.
• It continues the flagship formula with strong driving manners and upscale utility.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of satisfaction, inventory, and softened pricing, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for a newer model-year position.
