How much does the 2024 BMW X3 cost?

Prices have softened 6.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,935 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 BMW X3 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 BMW X3 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a premium SUV with everyday usability. The overview points to a blend of luxury SUV practicality and sporty driving character, along with a high seating position, easy access, and a car-like feel on the road. It also offers a strong mix of technology and performance, including LED headlights, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, adaptive suspension, and automatic climate control. For you, that means it fits well if you want a premium badge without giving up daily comfort or engaging handling. With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2024 BMW X3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the X3 is built around a polished, well-rounded formula rather than a complicated niche setup, with a premium interior and a broad range of powertrains. It is also described as sharp and stable on the road, which reinforces the sense that it is engineered to feel composed in everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium vehicles can bring higher repair and maintenance exposure than non-luxury alternatives.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X3?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you want has a clean title and consistent service records. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, electronics, and interior controls, since those systems matter most in a premium SUV like this. Focus on overall condition and maintenance quality, because the best used examples will show careful ownership rather than just low mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,935 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,057, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X3's resale value?

The current average of $37,057 sits slightly below last year's $39,561.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle holds demand over time. A model with broad appeal, premium features, and strong usability tends to stay easier to move when you eventually sell. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance documented, you should be in a better position to protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $44,674, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,057 average.
• The redesigned model brings a more minimalist cabin and more advanced technology.

The 2024 is the better fit if you want a proven, lower-priced version with strong market support and broad everyday appeal. If you are price-sensitive, it is the smarter buy; if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the alternative to consider.
